Function: Dumfries & Galloway Canine Rescue Centre was established in 2001. The centre is situated south-west of Dumfries and its catchment covers all of the south-west region and occasionally south across the border.

Fiona Brightley manages the centre on a day-to-day basis. As a result of a fundraising appeal the charity has been able to build an additional kennel facility, with a capacity for 30 animals.

In addition, the organisation has four charity shops throughout the region.
