Pet Fostering Service Scotland (PFSS) are registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, having been established since 1985. Since then a network of volunteers have dedicated many hours to help PFSS deliver their short-term pet fostering service. The foster carers and area organisers work collectively to provide free care for pets whose owners are in an emergency situation and are temporarily unable to care for them. Examples of such situations include ill health, temporary homelessness and domestic abuse. The collaboration The Blue Cross has with PFSS will help more needy pets in Scotland, and enable the effective rehoming for an increased number of animals. If you are interested in learning more about PFSS please visit their website: www.pfss.org.uk For fostering requests, please email info@pfss.org.uk or telephone 01877 331496. |
