Our community veterinary nurse scheme runs out of Victoria hospital and Merton hospital - both in London.

The role of the nurses is to visit elderly and disabled clients to help give their pet treatments and to monitor progress of their pet. It can be difficult for these clients to arrange transport to the hospitals, even though they are dedicated and caring owners. The community nurses get to know their clients well, and sometimes are the only visitors to the home for days or weeks. Clients often say they do not know how they would cope without this vital service.
