Our veterinary services are available to pets whose owners are on means-tested benefits or low incomes. The Blue Cross is not government or local authority funded, but relies on money raised through donations, legacies and other fundraising activities. We therefore ask that clients give a contribution towards the cost of their animals' treatment, vaccination or microchipping.

Does your pet qualify for treatment

To find out if you qualify for Blue Cross veterinary care, read our animal hospitals client information leaflet. These qualification criteria also apply to our outreach clinics, and mobile clinics. Contact your nearest Blue Cross animal hospital for more information on whether you qualify.

Pet owners living outside the catchment areas of Blue Cross hospitals and clinics may be eligible to benefit from the Blue Cross Veterinary Care Fund.

The Blue Cross also has a fleet of animal ambulances to transport animals owned by housebound people to and from the London hospitals, a series of mobile clinics, and out-of-hours emergency services at the Victoria and Grimsby hospitals.
