The Virgin London Marathon

On 25 April 2010, 31 Blue Cross runners took their place at the start line of the Virgin London Marathon ready to run the 26.2 mile course.

Congratulations to each and every one of them for finishing, they all did so well. As a result of their hard work they have collectively raised just over £40,000, which will help the many animals in our care.

To qualify for a place all we ask is for a non refundable registration fee of £100 (inc VAT), and to endeavour to raise £1,500.

As part of The Blue Cross team, we will support you all the way with top tips on training as well as an invite to our post race reception. Here you will be greeted with a warm Blue Cross smile, a welcoming massage to heal those aches and pains, plus refreshments to enjoy before making your journey home.

If you have already secured your own public place in this event we would be delighted to welcome you on to The Blue Cross team. All we ask is for you to raise as much sponsorship as you can for the animals that we care for.

In return we will send you our training pack as well as an invite to our post race reception.
