Education talks

These resource pages are for teachers and leaders to use with their children. The resources range from colouring pages and worksheets, to lesson plans and curriculum-linked programmes. A Blue Cross volunteer may be able to visit your school or group to talk to the children about responsible pet ownership. We do not charge for this service because educating children to respect and care for animals is a vital piece of our work.

If you would like to find out if there is a speaker in your area, or you would like to arrange a tour for your group around your local Blue Cross centre, please email education@bluecross.org.uk. The Blue Cross is also able to offer video conferencing through Global Leap, a not-for profit organisation.

If you're interested in an equine talk in your area, please email equine.education@bluecross.org.uk. We can visit riding schools, pony clubs or colleges, or arrange a tour and talk at one of our Blue Cross equine centres.
