St Francis of Assisi Day pet blessing service

Every October, to celebrate the feast day of St Francis of Assisi in October, The Blue Cross encourages people and their pets to attend churches which hold a special pet blessing service.

A special service booklet has been produced to support churches that would like to take part in the hope that they will donate part or all of their collections to The Blue Cross to help continue the vital work of caring for animals in need.
