The Blue Cross is holding a dressage competition on Wednesday 6th September at its equine rehabilitation centre in Northiam. The competition, which includes two Prelim. and one Novice classes, has been organised by the charity to raise funds for its work rehabilitating needy horse and ponies. Entry is open to spectators from 10am and admission is free. This event is just one of a calendar of dressage competitions run by the charity this year to raise awareness that The Blue Cross rehomes all rounders as well as companions. The Blue Cross's dressage event will have three classes, each costing £7 to enter. Entries close this week, although late entries are still available. Event sponsors include TopSpec Feeds, Martyn Channon Country Store, Cinque Ports Veterinary Associates and Gill's Bit Bank. For further information on this event and others in the coming months or for the rules and conditions of entry, please call the Northiam equine centre on 01797 253908.
