A new device is set to launch on the mobile phone market, however, this time the customers are dogs. PetsCell will enable pet owners to communicate with their lost or lonely animals through a bone-shaped gadget attached to the dogs collar. Working in a similar way to conventional mobile phones, owners can dial their dog on a dedicated telephone number which connects automatically to the collar piece. A speaker in the bone will broadcast the owners voice to the dog and allow the dog to bark in response. PetsCell, from American company PetsMobility, will retail at around £100 and is due for launch in the UK by the end of the year. |
