London Animal Day

A big THANK YOU to all those volunteers who helped raise funds for The Blue Cross during the London Animal Flag Days in 2004. Thanks to our supporters, we managed to raise over £2,000 and that’s over £700 up on the previous year! One volunteer even did his collections in a dog costume at Liverpool Street and Victoria Stations!

London Animal Day is a London-wide street collection, which involves raising awareness and valuable funds for ten charities that promote animal welfare, ownership and protection. The animal charities have worked together on this joint event for 69 years!

The dates for 2005 are 30 May – 11 June for house-to-house collections, Friday 10 June for the City collection and Saturday 11 June for Metropolitan area collections.
