The Blue Cross stand at Crufts was a big success this year, with a great selection of giveaways, leaflets and magazines. The larger-than-life statue of Blue Cross character Dooby the dog (see picture) was a hit and caused a commotion with passing children. The biggest show in the canine calendar was well supported with over 120,000 people attending. The usual competitions and displays were there. And we were proud to see an ex-Blue Cross rescue dog named Tip winning the midi agility. The two-year-old collie cross Jack Russell was taken expertly round the course by his owner, 16-year-old Heather Lee.
