Christmas Paw Draw raffle winners

Christmas Paw Draw

Scamp picks the raffle winners, with the help of animal welfare assistant, Jane Pawling

A Blue Cross rescue dog has sniffed out four big winners in the first Christmas Paw Draw raffle at the charity's animal adoption centre in Burford. Four lucky recipients were picked, with a top prize of £5,000.

Scamp, a border collie who is looking for a new home, helped pick the winners from over 130,000 tickets. Blue Cross trading manager Jonathan Chambers said: "We have brought in around £160,000 through both raffle ticket sales and donations in this, the first Christmas Paw Draw. This is a fantastic achievement and we would like to thank all those who contributed to helping needy our animals."

Scamp is a very lovable dog who enjoys a fuss and playing with his toys. If anyone thinks they can give him the happy new home he deserves, visit our animals for adoption page.
