Free wills fortnight

The Blue Cross is proud to sponsor this month's Free Wills Fortnight, joining nine other UK charities to offer members of the public aged 55 plus the opportunity to have their Wills written or updated free of charge by using the services of local solicitors in specific locations.

Free Wills Fortnight is the perfect opportunity for many people to put their affairs in order and help their favourite cause at the same time. At The Blue Cross, 54 per cent of the charity's income is derived from gifts left in a person's Will. 

This is the first of two campaigns taking place in 2007, and runs from 18 - 31 May in 12 areas across the UK. Local solicitors in England and Wales will offer their specialist Will-writing services to members of the public, with the charities paying for this service.
