ALDER - 15 yrs, 12.1hh, Exmoor, gelding.

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION

Alder came to The Blue Cross in 2007 through no fault of his own, when his owners emigrated. Sadly he can no longer be ridden so is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion to other horses. Alder would like to find experienced people who understand Exmoor ponies to keep his cheeky ways in check. He does suffer with sweet itch but with the correct care and management this can be kept under control.

ASTI - 13 yrs, 13hh, native, chestnut, mare.

RIDING PONY

Asti is a great pony who is looking for a home as a child’s hack. She is very good to handle and with the vet and farrier.  Asti has suffered from laminitis in the past so will need a knowledgeable home with owners who can manage this.

CHLOE - 16 yrs, 15.2hh, bay Welsh section D mare

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION

Chloe is a pretty bay mare who is looking for a private, quiet yard with mares or geldings where she won't be left on her own. Her carer will need to understand how to manage sweet itch through daily care and she will be rehomed with her Boett rug to help with this. She loves being groomed and getting lots of attention. Chloe must live out all year with a field shelter and is good with the vet and farrier.

DARYL- 17 yrs, 11hh, native, dapple grey, mare

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION

Daryl is a very sweet little mare who is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion. Daryl came to The Blue Cross when her owner could no longer look after her. She is a sweet natured pony with a cheeky personality and will make someone a great companion pony. Daryl is looking for a home with someone who can give her the care and attention she deserves. Daryl is a good doer and will live out all year or can part stable. She is also good with the vet and farrier.

LULLABY - 18 yrs, 12.3hh, Welsh X, bay, mare

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION

Lullaby is an adorable pony. She has previously had a busy life competing in The Pony Club and is now looking to relax. She loves attention and deserves a home that will give her lots of TLC. Lullaby is good to handle and with the vet and farrier.

MINTY - 7 yrs, 11.2hh, Welsh section A, grey, gelding.

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION

Minty is a sweet pony who deserves a lovely home. He can be nervous but his confidence has really improved since being with The Blue Cross. Minty is good with the farrier and vet and will happily live out or part stable.

TEQUILA - 17 yrs, 13.2hh, native, roan, gelding

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION

Tequila is an affectionate pony who likes people and enjoys plenty of attention. He is looking for a home where he can provide companionship to other ponies. Tequila is good to handle, and will stand quietly for the farrier and vet. He will happily live with mares or geldings.

BOBKIN - 14 yrs, 12.2hh, bay, gelding.

RIDING PONY

Bobkin is very handsome and could make a nice show pony. He works well in the school and hacks alone and in company. Bobkin will live out or part stable and is good with the vet and farrier.

TIA MARIA - 13 yrs, 15.1hh, dark bay, TBX, mare

NON-RIDDEN COMPANION.

Tia Maria is a striking dark bay mare, who despite her troubled past has a kind and affectionate nature. Tia is good to handle, with the vet and farrier, and will happily live out with both mares and geldings.
