Creative pets can now have their works of art professionally produced, it has emerged.

That Dog Nose Art! is giving animal fans the opportunity to capture their furry friends' prints and have them turned into cards or framed images.

Founder of the company, Sondra Raines Brooks from Texas, explained that the service may appeal to horse, moggie and pooch owners who wish to have a keepsake created by their furry friends.

Interested pet owners can contact the company, which sends out special canvases that are placed where their four-legged companions often rub their noses, such as car windows.

The impressions are then sent to the firm where artists add colour to the imprints, creating abstract artworks.

"What better way to show off a pet's talent? Plus, it provides a life-long reminder of a beloved animal," said Ms Brooks.

The firm recently launched its line of charity sympathy cards, which were printed from impressions made by schnauzer Oscar.
