Many homeless pets come to The Blue Cross over the Christmas period and we work hard to keep them warm and comfortable over the winter months, but this can be very costly. Despite this extra cost we do not routinely rehome pets in the run up to Christmas, to ensure there is no possibility of our animals becoming another unwanted present.

By choosing one of our  packages you will be helping vulnerable pets, who have no one to love them this Christmas.

Each gift pack contains a certificate, Christmas card and a copy of our supporter magazine Blueprint.

Bunny Bundle (£10)

Last year alone The Blue Cross helped to rehome over 300 rabbits and other small pets. Some of these pets, although small need a lot of specialist skill and care. Your gift will help us to meet the needs of these vulnerable small pets.

Sponsor a Pony (£15)

This gift allows you to choose a special horse or pony at one of The Blue Cross centres. In doing so, you will be contributing to the rehabilitation of all the horses and ponies in our care. In return, instead of the standard virtual gift pack, you will receive a welcome pack, personal updates and opportunities to visit your sponsor horse. A perfect Christmas gift for friends and family.

Cosy Kittens (£15)

Every year The Blue Cross helps to find loving new homes for thousands of cats and kittens. We make sure that every single one of them is warm and cared for, and that they have everything they need to stay happy and healthy until they get a loving new home. Your gift will help us to ensure that every cat or kitten who comes in to a Blue Cross adoption centre is kept safe and cosy.

Pampered Puppies (£25)

As all dog lovers know puppyhood is the most important time in any dog’s life. It is when they learn about the world around them and how to live in it. At The Blue Cross we work tirelessly to make sure every puppy in our care is given the very best start in life. Your gift will help us to continue finding loving homes where puppies will be given all the love and care they need to grow in to happy healthy adult dogs.

Warm Welcome (£50)

When animals arrive with us they have often been through a lot, so we do our absolute best to give them a warm welcome at one of our 11 adoption centres. Your gift will help us to ensure that every animal that arrives at The Blue Cross is given a second chance to find their perfect home.

Fix a Fracture (£100)

The Blue Cross veterinary services are there to help those pet owners who are unable to afford private veterinary care. As vets bills increase more and more people find themselves in a situation where they are unable to afford the treatment their beloved companion needs. Your gift will go towards supporting the work of our veterinary services including life saving surgery.
