We have joined with Reclaim-it to create a new scheme that turns your old mobile phones and empty printer cartridges into valuable funds. The partnership offers an entirely free and ethical way for you to assist us our work of helping needy pets.

If you would like to raise funds for The Blue Cross - and reduce the amount of waste consigned to landfill sites - here's how:

1   If you have an unused mobile phone or inkjet printer cartridge at home, request for us to send you an envelope so you forward them freepost to Reclaim-it. Reclaim-it will then donate the value of these items to The Blue Cross.

2   If you work in a small office or shop, perhaps you could take one of our freepost envelope display boxes so colleagues or shoppers can pick up an envelope and help us by recycling their old mobile phones and empty inkjet cartridges.

3   If you work in a larger office that uses printer cartridges more often, one of our collection boxes would be a useful idea. Once it is full, simply call Reclaim-it who will arrange for its collection and the delivery of a new box.

To request any of the above, simply click on the highlighted links, fill in your details, and you will receive the items by return post.

If you would like further information, call Tracey at The Blue Cross on 01993 825567, or Reclaim-it on 01635 876 900. Alternatively, contact us on thebluecross@reclaim-it.com.
